Plugin: WordPress Tiger Adminstration

The current default WordPress administration area is functional, but OrderList felt it could be improved. Would you like to have a new look for your WordPress adminstration area? WordPress Tiger Adminstration looks really nice and improved the usability. The author didn’t want to touch the XHTML framework of the admin, but instead relied on the power of CSS2 to manipulate the presentation. The whole package has been wrapped up into a single plugin. Just install and activate. The new design will be immediately visible. Take a look at the following screenshots, you would like to install this plugin immediately.

For most part, admin page design is overlooked. I liked the look of Tiger but did not end up using it. Instead I found Advanced-Admin-Menus more helpful. They are simple drop down menus that speeds navigation. Using both at once did not work, but a combination of ideas would be nice.

I use the Admin Drop Down Menu. It saves me so much time and clicks.

unless a newer version has been released (which I’m pretty sure it hasn’t), Tiger Admin doesn’t play particularily well with the current version of WP. For info on the issues (straight from the author’s mouth), check out this post: http://orderedlist.com/articles/passing-the-torch
