Wait a minute ..so Shopp is better .. because WP-eCommerce charges for Gold Cart?

But … way more than half of the add on modules for Shopp are actually *included* in the FREE download and 100% usable WP-eCommerce Plugin.

Plus you still have to pay just to get Shopp.

Umm.. yeah. Spam. Okay. Great.

Now, Instinct’s strong point has not ever been documentation, but .. most people can figure stuff out. If not, I’m not sure extensive documentation is going to help in all cases anyway.

Can someone tell me exactly what you get for free and exactly what you mean by having to pay for modules? Will this plugin work for free without modules? What do the modules add to the plugin?

i tested the wp-ecommerce plugin and it has some really annoying bugs. i have the latest version. try setting the “add to cart” option to show, add some items to the cart, go to checkout, choose paypal as your payment method then make the purchase…it doesn’t work. the procedure defaults to manual payment all the time.

the paypal payment gateway only works when the “add to cart” option is hidden and button type is set to “buy now”.

This plugin looks pretty cool. I’m looking for a plugin that allows me to accept Paypal, upload pictures, and sell downloadable products. I think this may be what I’m looking for.
