There is a new interesting plugin open source for WordPress, called MeeNews, a tool that lets you customize the layout of the template as you like, manage mailing lists, create newsletters with a pleasant style Html.
Its configuration is very easy and simple and does not require much knowledge of programming, plus you have a video demo and installation manuals in pdf format that will guide you during the installation and configuration. A newsletter that meets all the anti-spam requirements, complatible with these mail clients, e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, Hotmail, etc…

After using this for a couple weeks, it’s not ready for prime time, loads of bugs and needs more translation, documentation, customization and stability. It really should be marked as a beta release.
