When we are doing maintenance for our blogs, we always want to let visitors know about it. So that they will not be scared or get confused. Maintenance Mode Plugin is a really great tool to help us. Are you tired of content scrapper? If you have enabled your full feeds, they would easily pull your contents out from your feeds and then inject into their blog posts automatically. And also, they would pretend the contents are written by themselves. AntiLeech helps prevent content theft by sploggers. AntiLeech does not prevent the splogger bots from accessing your site. It produces a fake set of content especially for them that includes links back to your site and sends it only to them. When they steal this content, it appears online just like normal, except now you’ve turned the tables on them and have provided them with useless content.

AntiLeech can detect a splogger bot using its User-Agent string, or by IP address. You can enter a User-Agent or an IP address into the Options panel of your WordPress blog. In addition to all of that, AntiLeech will produce a robots.txt output from the User-Agents that you’ve specified in the options page, assuming you don’t already have one. Trackbacks are the messages displayed in the comments list whenever another blog links back to one of your posts. If you use trackbacks on your blog, it is best if they are not mixed with the comments. The comments are a conversation between between real people. Having machine-generated links in the middle of that will only serve to disrupt the conversations.

ProBlogDesign has shared a method that will lift out all of the trackbacks, and then display them as a numbered list after the list of comments is finished. Once you have this done, customizing the trackbacks to appear however you want them to is simple.
