Steve: I believe it will really depend on if your site is somewhat related to the gallery itself: design. If it's a nice-looking website with plenty of resources and updated frequently, I'll bet it'll get a new site some initial subscribers, loyal ones at that.

I totally agree with this post, this is vital to getting your site exposed. Use CSS galleries to your advantage.... it will give you new visitors as well as it will help showcase your work to the internet.

Hello,

Unless your site is CSS related, is this really worth it? You will get a visitor spike, bu then what? Take my site for example, it is not CSS related - and ignoring that fact it doesn't look nice enough to be on a CSS gallery anyway - how would I benefit from the CSS gallery visitor rush?

I guess it may result in some links but they are certainly not going to be relevant in that the sites linking to my site for its CSS layout are unlikely to be in my niche.

I guess, for new sites, it is a way to get some initial links and get into the search engines. I suppose this comment boils down to this question: In a search engine, is a link to a non-relevant site worth more than no link at all?

Cheers,
Steve.
