Sometimes, links get broken. Most likely many of your blog posts contain links. It is almost inevitable that over time some of them will lead to a “404 Not Found†error page. Obviously you don’t want your readers to be annoyed by clicking a link that leads nowhere. You can check the links yourself but that might be quite a task if you have a lot of posts. You could use your webserver’s stats but that only works for local links.
Broken Link Checker is a plugin for WordPress that will check your posts (and pages), looking for broken links, and notifies you on the Dashboard if any problems are found. By default all old posts/links are re-checked every 72 hours, or you can set a different time period.
There are several buttons for each broken link – “Details” shows more info about why the link is considered “broken”, “Edit Post” does exactly what it says and “Discard” will remove the message about a broken link, but not the link itself (so it will show up again later unless you fix it). Use “Unlink” to actually remove the link from the post. If references to missing images are found, they will be listed along with the links, with “[image]” in place of link text.

FlippingBook Wordpress Gallery is an excellent way of working with images in blogs. You download photos, and the plugin creates a small photo gallery out of them. If you need to post several pictures, you don’t have to make large posts. Being joint together, pictures can be put in a beautiful album-book and don’t take up much space.
It’s very convenient to look through the pictures, leafing through the pages. You just have to double-click to print images out. This is a real interactive book which is nice and easy to use when you turn its pages.

TDO Mini Forms plugin allows you to add highly customisable forms that work with your Theme to your website that allows non-registered users and/or subscribers (also configurable) to submit posts. The posts are kept in “draft” until an admin can publish them (also configurable).
It can optionally use Akismet to check if submissions are spam. TDO Mini Forms can be used to create “outside-the-box” uses for Wordpress, from Contact Managers, Ad Managers, Collaborate Image Sites, Submit Links, etc.
The plugin provides an extensive moderation view so administrators and editors can see posts awaiting approval and publish or delete them. Administrators can also ban specific users and IPs from using the form. Redirection is a WordPress plugin to manage 301 redirections, keep track of 404 errors, and generally tidy up any loose ends your site may have. This is particularly useful if you are migrating pages from an old website, or are changing the directory of your WordPress installation.
Redirection uses three core concepts: Modules, Groups and Redirects. A module consists of many groups, and each group consists of many redirections. A module determines how the redirections will be used, and a group allows you to separate redirections into logical units. A redirection represents an action performed when a particular URL is accessed.
