WordPress already offers naturally a comfortable possibility to publish articles delayed. The advantages of this convenient function are obvious: Posts can be created in advance and will automatically be published a few days later or on midnight – even if you are not at the pc. wpSLEEP is based on the same thought and actuate parts of a post as the author likes them to.
In the originated post, text passages, graphics or other elements are marked up to sample and are provided with a start- and / or end date. After saving and publishing of the post, the marked part is only viewable during the time span specified (from 01.10.2008 1 pm until 31.12.2008 6.30 pm for example).
Examples are also graphical banners or text links, which are booked for a certain time. Accordingly paragraphs or chapters can be taken first off- and at later stage taken online again, just one specifies. Variations are nearly unlimited! And there is no database necessary for wpSLEEP!

MailPress Allows you to send beautiful and styled html and plain text mails based on dedicated themes and templates. Using this WordPress plugin, you can send any e-mail notification issued for comments subscribers, your periodic newsletters (per post/daily/weekly/monthly) and some specific admin events : registration of a new user, comment to moderate, new comment on your posts.
Several addons are available as zip files in the mailpress folder. They are in fact WordPress plugins interacting with MailPress. The basic idea is to keep the core of MailPress as stable as possible and to use the WordPress API to propose some add ons, making MailPress completely scalable to your needs.

We have mentioned ElegantThemes a while ago, which provides WordPress themes of quality and integrity. Recently, they have released a new theme called eGamer. eGamer was designed with video game blogs in mind, however, it can certainly be adapted to any niche. This theme contains some advanced features as follows.
When you make a post you can add a custom field with your desired video embed code (taken from a video streaming website such as youtube). This video is then displayed on your single post page below the rest of the content in its own box.
Whenever you make a post you will notice that a new section has been added below your text editor entitled “eGamer Rating settings.†Within the field just type a number between 0 and 5. Once you assign a rating a star-rating image is generated and placed on your post page below the title.
For each post you can assign a single thumbnail image. This thumbnail image is automatically resized, cropped, and paced throughout the blog.
You can choose featured articles for your blog which will be displayed through a javascript scroller on the homepage. These are set to rotate automatically, and can also be rotated by mouse click.
The theme comes with two optional advertisement areas. There are four 125×125 banner image spots that can be displayed in the sidebar, as well as a single 468×60 banner that is displayed at the top of the page. The banner images and URL’s are managed via the theme’s options page, and both nodes can be turned on and off at any time.
eGamer is the first Quality Premium WordPress theme for Gaming industry I have ever seen. Just join ElegantThemes, and you would be able to download eGame along with other Premium WordPress themes with the cost of $19.95/year only.

Most bloggers love their RSS readers. Not only that, but they also love to gain new RSS readers. It is such a joy when you wake up one day and see that your Feedburner count jumped by 200 or 300, right?
Those days are quite rare though, and most people seem to have a hard time gaining even a small number of new RSS subscribers consistently. Is there anything you can do about it? Any way to efficiently attract more RSS subscribers?
Sure there is. Many people wrote about this topic in the past, but DailyBlogTips wanted to give his take on the issue too. He wrote “50 Simple Ways to Gain RSS Subscribers” as they were coming to his head, as briefly as possible. Apparently, Blog Perfume are doing most of the them now. Therefore, we have successfully gained over 2500 readers in the past months.
